Player Fitness, Health & Injury Liability

All players registering for GMCL (Galli Mohalla Cricket League) are considered to be physically fit, medically sound, and capable of participating in cricket matches without risk to themselves or others.

• Any player with a known injury, illness, chronic condition, or medical limitation must avoid participation. Registering while unfit may lead to disqualification.

• By registering, every player confirms that:

  • They are participating voluntarily and at their own risk.

  • They have no serious medical condition that could worsen during cricket activity.

  • They fully understand that cricket involves physical exertion and risk of injury.

• The organisers shall not be held responsible or liable for:

  • Any injury, accident, health issue, or medical emergency occurring before, during, or after matches.

  • Any complications due to undisclosed medical conditions of the player.

  • Any expenses related to treatment, medication, or hospitalization.

• By registering, the player agrees that no legal claim, complaint, case, or proceeding of any kind will be initiated against:

  • Galli Mohalla Pro League Private Limited

  • GMSSL Sports Foundation

  • Global Mega Box Cricket Association

  • Organisers, officials, volunteers, umpires, or any partner entities involved in the league

• Players also agree that any such claims are waived unconditionally, and participation is entirely at their own responsibility.

• Players are advised to:

  • Warm up properly

  • Stay hydrated

  • Avoid playing if unwell or injured

  • Seek medical fitness clearance when required

Player Conduct, Decorum & Zero-Tolerance Policy

• All players, team officials, and attendees must maintain strict discipline and sportsmanlike behaviour throughout the league.

• Any form of verbal abuse, physical fight, heated arguments, threats, misconduct, provocation, or disrespectful behaviour—towards players, umpires, volunteers, staff, or spectators—is strictly prohibited.

• The following actions will lead to immediate disqualification of the player or the entire team:

  • Fighting or attempting to fight

  • Abusive or aggressive language

  • Threatening match officials

  • Damaging property or equipment

  • Disrupting match flow through intentional arguments

• The on-ground Umpire’s and Match Referee’s decision is final, and no protest, dispute, or interruption will be entertained during or after the match.

• Organisers reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or ban any player/team for violating discipline

  • Cancel a team’s participation without refund

  • Report severe misconduct to local authorities if necessary

• Teams are responsible for ensuring:

  • Their players follow league rules and maintain sportsmanship

  • No supporter or accompanying person creates disturbance or misconduct

• All players must respect:

  • Opponents

  • Match officials

  • Volunteers and event staff

  • GMCL branding, rules, and event environment

• By registering, players and teams confirm that they understand and agree to strictly maintain decorum, avoid disputes, and accept swift disciplinary action for violations.
